Informal learning occurs daily in the gallery, during discussions with the public about materials, techniques and our makers’ work. We also hold a range of more formal events with an explicit educational aim, from ‘Meet the Maker’ events to demonstrations and talks. Our series of thought-provoking and illuminating debates in the gallery has generated lively discussion and even friendly argument about the role of crafts in society today.
