Katie Walker

Katie Walker’s approach of combining sculpture with practical furniture design has resulted in a diverse range of work – from small pieces of domestic furniture, through one-off commercial commissions to art based sculptural pieces.

Walker set up practice in 1994 – a natural step taken to complete commissions gained as the result of her ?nal show at the Royal College of Art the previous year. Collaborations with other workshops has bought with it the opportunity to work with a number of retailers, including Benchmark furniture, Heals and John Lewis.
