David Poston is an inter-disciplinary problem-solver and a 3D designer-maker. A jeweller since 1968, Poston’s consistent point of departure has been the tactile relationship between a wearer and their object. Poston chooses materials for what they do, their fitness for purpose and the potential of their physical qualities, not their monetary value. Stainless steel and titanium are challenging but rewarding materials. Technical challenges and functional problems continue to amuse and fascinate Poston.
