Nicola Malkin

I explore people’s attachments to objects. I’m interested in how and why they evoke memories. I think people hold an amount of sentimentality from the aesthetics, associations and tactility of ceramics objects and I use that in my work. I am inspired by jewellery and enjoy using it as a vehicle to tell a story.
