'I donít really trust ideas, especially good ones. Rather I put my trust in materials that confront me, because they put me in touch with the unknown.
I am particularly interested in emphasising material performance, and the way it portrays the passage of time, paradoxically constant metamorphosis from one state to another, of conflict and change that perhaps equates to our own ontology and the way we interact.
Referencing a human body and objects found in nature simultaneously fascinate me. My work carries anthropomorphic and zoomorphic references as well as having an autobiographical narrative.í
