Contemporary Applied Arts is known for representing the best crafts professionals in the UK. Take Me Home showcases the work of all Members selected in 2006, and demonstrates the breadth, wealth and richness of talent that exists within the membership base, and the exceptionally high quality that can be found within the craft sector.
Each new membership application to CAA undergoes a rigorous selection process, assessed by a panel of industry professionals. All of the makers in Take Me Home have developed techniques and processes which demonstrate exceptional mastery and originality, which are two of the main qualities that CAA looks for when selecting its Members.
Take Me Home emphasizes the individuality of twenty different makers, who all share here their research and experimentation. As a visitor, you can experience the creative journey through insight into the process of making.
