Sally Freshwater

The work for this exhibition continues a relatively new departure in my work in exploring the relationship between drawing and the construction of 3 dimensional form, resulting in a series of works which hover somewhere between flat drawings and low-reliefs. As my work is intrinsically abstract, my response to the issues and concerns of this exhibition has evolved as the incorporation of elements that represent bees, their importance to our existence and their potential demise.
