Rajesh Gogna

Rajesh uses traditional techniques to produce all of his work with the addition of challenging concepts to contemporise the ancient craft of Silversmithing.
The Art within crafts practice is one of the themes explored in his work to develop Contemporary metalwork objects from the historical Neo-classicism, Rocco & Victorian Periods.
One of his collections is underpinned by the research and exploration of traditional tea drinking. A selection of vessels captures vintage aesthetics celebrating the ritual of formal & social interaction between the viewer and the user through the expression of conventional forms and functionality.
Other works include the exploration of zip fasteners within table top objects to transform and convey movement within metalwork.
Rajesh has established an impressive portfolio commanding interest both nationally and internationally through his unique approach to design.
