1973 Studied Glassblowing at Orrefors Glass School, Sweden.
1972 Won Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship
1969-1972 Jewellery Design Course at Central School of Art & Design, London, leading to Dip.A.D.
1968 Foundation Course in Art & Design

2001 My own company, Microfusion Furnaces and Controls Ltd was formed to hold proprietary rights over the glassmaking equipment previously developed.
1991 I was invited to collaborate with Eurofusion Ltd, a newly formed company specialising in large industrial glass furnaces, to develop a range of smaller glass furnaces. During my time with this company I was involved in several projects in Europe and the Far East. I gained much valuable experience working with specialist engineers and developed my own skills in all aspects of glass equipment design and manufacture.  This collaboration continued in several forms until
1992 Collaborated with Laser Kilns Ltd, of London developing, producing and marketing a range of innovative glass fusing kilns.
1974 Invited to join The Glasshouse, Covent Garden, London, as an associate member becoming a director in 1977.
Responsible for workshop furnaces and other equipment.
I was with The Glasshouse for 23 years. I exhibited internationally and my work is now in museums and private collections.
Whilst at the The Glasshouse I was commissioned to design and install glass furnaces in several other private workshops and colleges.
