Rachel Ward-Sale
Texture, both natural and manufactured, has been a recurring influence on my work. Recently I have been concentrating on this element of design, creating bindings using found objects to impress into, or print onto, the surface of leather. The unpredictable and random nature of these techniques, produce very tactile results.
