Midori Kunikati-Cockram

Inspiration for my work stems from the text and illustrations, environment, material and physical texture. I feel that for my work to succeed all elements must be working in unison. Recently, I have concentrated with drawing elements of the design to build up a sense of depth. It is my intention to create designs and bindings that have more than sudden impact, that my designs are subtle and have depth to them. I hope that this allows the viewer more opportunity to spend more time with my work finding something new with each visit.
