Derek Hood
As a contemporary binder my books are bound using a creative combination of traditional techniques and modern design. My design inspiration is fuelled by a passion for the works of De Stijl, Bauhaus and especially the geometric forms of Ben Nicholson. By combining this aesthetic with my love of contemporary cult fiction I have been presented with an endless source of inspiration and means of expression.
