Peter Archer

My work evolves through the actual process of making, with each bowl inevitably influencing the next.
All the work is unique although, obviously, there are thematic similarities.
I only use sustainable, temperate hardwoods and prefer to source the timber locally.
Sycamore is an ideal timber for the work I do as it turns, stains and carves very well and, in tree form at least, is very common.
