Martin Malcolm & Gaynor Dowling
Our work is carving, collaboratively across a range of scales, working in series, each family of pieces explored through a range of variations. We use gouges to draw in shallow relief that articulates the fall of light across forms that explore the boundary between two and three dimensions.
We use primarily lime oak, with a maximum of texture to explore the force of tools, the express of the hand.
