Scientific approach to combining found objects

Fragments from around the world are collected then combined with other materials to form a unique idea of contemporary jewellery. Creations become shells or containers for stories that usually derive from memories, experimentation, second hand materials and found materials.
Things are taken out of context, played around with, deconstructed and put back together.

The pieces may be called jewellery, but really they are much more than that, and just wearing them does not fully engage their potential.  Perfection is not the intention of the work the outcome should be surprising, and something completely new discovered. The theme implies an free and open way of working, where rules do not apply.  Working becomes a pleasurable state of creative expression, one which is very much about the process and not about the goal, even if there are several outcomes at the end.
