Architectural Jewellery

6 23 September 2017

To coincide with this years London Design Festival, we are presenting a special showcase of Architectural Jewellery by CAA maker members.

On display will be bold constructed, modernist and architecturally-inspired jewellery ranging from geometric pieces made from ethically sourced gold and silver by Ute Decker, brooches depicting some of the worlds most famous landmarks of 20th and 21st century architecture such as the Shard and the Guggenheim museums by Vicki Ambery-Smith and a whole new body of work by Josef Koppmann.

Jeweller Tania Clarke Hall, who works in leather, will be creating a stunning window display specially for this show and visitors will also be able to take a closer look at her cutting techniques at a demonstration. The exhibition will also be part of the recently established Bankside Design District.

Exhibiting makers include: Vicki Ambery-Smith, Stacey Bentley, Flora Bhattachary, Michael Carberry, Tania Clarke Hall, Ute Decker, Joel Degen, Anne Finlay, Mara Irsara, Josef Koppmann, Daphne Krinos, Susan May, David Poston, Wendy Ramshaw, Joanne Thompson and David Watkins.
