CAA in Education 2003

CELEBRATING EDUCATION

To mark the unique dynamism created in the Outreach Programme and highlight the achievement and enjoyment of the participating makers, CAA held a special exhibition CELEBRATING EDUCATION 16 April to 7 June 2003. The exhibition featured work of the makers who took part in the 1999-2002 education projects. The inspiration behind the new work was the makers' experiences and expression of their involvement in the Outreach Programme.

OUTREACH PROGRAMME 1999-2002

Since 1999 CAA 's education programme has been working closely with the primary and secondary schools in our local borough of Camden. We have also worked in partnership with the University of London's Institute of Education, Teacher Training Programme and Cockpit Arts.

During 1999 - 20002 our highly successful Outreach Programme included HANDS ON! a specially funded scheme of free projects sponsored by grants received from Foundations and Trusts. The education programme also included one -off projects commissioned by primary schools.
